Sol's Exchange
Sol's Exchange, the first of the Sol's stores, started with humble beginnings, and opened to customers in the fall of 1993. The first thing it received was a face lift, changing the old auto body shop into what would become the standard look of our stores. The Exchange building has been through one major remodeling since it's opening. The remodeling doubled the amount of ground floor space. In addition, a loft was added. This expansion brought the store size to 12,000 square feet and the total number of crafter spaces to approximately 220. These spaces are filled with many unique and exciting crafts including goose clothes, home-made candles, dolls, and primitives. The main attraction of the Exchange store is most definitely the many choices of snacks and food. Here you will find Boswell's Beanery's famous Pretzel Dips, Sauces, Cheesecake mixes, Dressings, BBQ Rubs, and Salsas; nearly all of which are sampled out daily. Also carried are a large array of candy, nuts, fudge, and pure maple syrup, among other things. This store like all of the other Sol's stores has something for everyone and provides you with the one stop shopping experience for which Sol's is famous companies.

Sol's Palace
Sol's Palace, the largest of the three stores was started only nine months after the Exchange opened. It was clear that more space was needed, as the Exchange was already reaching its full capacity. In the summer of 1994 work began on Sol's Palace, whose name and architectural inspiration came from Jamie, the daughter of owners Junior and Susie Stutzman. This was quite a compliment considering Jamie was only seven years old at that time. Like the Exchange building, the Palace also had one major remodeling, which more than doubled the square footage of the store to around 20,000 square feet, housing approximately 250 booths. The main focus of this store is crafts, crafts, and more crafts. One of the more popular spots is in the basement where you will find a large selection of pine hutches, shelves, television stands, shaker benches and more. You will definitely want to give yourself time to look around in the Palace so you don't miss a thing. This store like all of the other Sol's stores has something for everyone and provides you with the one stop shopping experience for which Sol's is famous.

Sol's Kit-N-Kaboodle
In the fall of 2002 Sol's expanded once again and added a third store, Sol's Kit-N-Kaboodle. To name the store, Jr. and Susie asked each employee to come up with several possible names. The most popular names of the suggestions were: Sol's Trading Post, Verba's Variety (Verba once lived in the residence where Sol's Kit-N-Kaboodle is now located) Sol's Paddy wagon, and Sol's Kit-N-Kaboodle. A few months after opening, Sol's Kit-N-Kaboodle and Sol's Palace were connected via a hallway from the Palace loft to the Kaboodle main floor. The Kit-N-Kaboodle store features a large inspirational showroom of P. Graham Dunn products. There is everything from large laser engraved plaques of The Lord's Prayer and the Ten Commandments, to small plaques of favorite Bible verses and hymns. Also in the gallery are many Thomas Kincaid items. From framed pictures to puzzles and journals there is something for every "Painter of Light" fan. In the showroom you will also find hand made educational wooden toys for young children. Another unique feature to the Kit-N-Kaboodle is a booth full of NASCAR memorabilia, sports cards, and beanie babies. This store like all of the other Sol's stores has something for everyone and provides you with the one stop shopping experience for which Sol's is famous.
